The Lookah Q7 mini is a popular, and portable E-Nail designed to work with any dab rig or water pipe.

It’s an electric attachment that takes the place of the standard quartz or titanium nail that fits onto the dab rig, eliminates the need for a torch.

The Lookah Q7 Mini is the newly redesigned version of the original Lookah Q7 enail, but hasn’t strayed much from the design, just smaller and more portable.

One of the more disliked features of the Q7 was its large size and hefty weight, making it impossible to use with a rig that is 6 Inches or smaller because this big enail would cause the dab rig to tip over.

The Lookah Q7 Mini's smaller size eliminates this issue and can be used with any rig of your choosing! A rechargeable battery means you don’t require access to an electrical outlet in order to use it.

It’s lightweight and portable, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, perfect for those who bring a little rig on holidays, to the ski hill, or to a friends party. We use ours around the house, but the portability is a big benefit to this unit.

However, the only drawback is the requirement of a glass rig/bong to operate this E-Nail unit. As a result, it’s not as discreet as other wax pens like the Utillian 5 and Linx Ember.

710 Quartz Bucket Coil

Another improvement seen on the Q7 Mini is that it utilizes new replaceable 710 quartz bucket coil Type C instead of a fixed quartz bucket as seen on the original Q7.

We have seen it time and time again, sometimes the quartz bucket coil integrated into the Q7 would crack. Since the bucket coil is built into the device, it cannot be replaced, so if you found yourself with a crack in your insert, your Q7 would be useless.

The removable and replaceable quartz bucket coil is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to the lifespan of this device!

Lookah Q7 Mini eNail provides a precise, electronically controlled heating mechanism, ensuring a consistent temperature and predictable results.

There are three options for setting, 3.2V (Low), 3.6V (Medium), and 4.0V (High), defined in terms of voltage instead of temperature, but still providing consistent performance in terms of temperature.

You can choose or change the temperature by double-pressing the button. Whatever temperature you set, it can be seen easily via the LED display panel.

Lower temperatures are superior for flavor, while high temperatures are best if you want intense hits and a more powerful high (although every dab gives you a pretty powerful high).

The vapor quality though is greatly aided by the water that’s in your pipe. Filtering vapor through water rids it of impurities and cools it down even further. So even if you blast the Q7 mini onto its highest temperature, you might get just a little less flavor, but still the coolest vapor.

Compatibility

You can connect the Lookah Q7 Mini E-Nail directly to any glass water pipe with a 14mm female joint.

It can also be adapted to fit any size water pipe with a 18mm female joint through the included 14mm to 18mm silicone adapter.

Battery Life

The Lookah Q7 Mini features a powerful 950mAh battery that packs a punch with around 80 to 100 hits per charge.

It is charged through a modern USB-C charging port, which is definitely a big upgrade over the usual Micro-USB, more stable and delivers power a lot faster than that dated cable.

The charging port is located a little above the button. Unfortunately! the charger and cable are not included.

Ease Of Use

Here is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Insert the device into the joint of your dab rig or bong .

Step 2: Flip open the magnetic cap on top of the unit to expose the quartz bucket coil.

Load your preferred extract into the quartz dish inside the chamber. Close the cap.

Step 3: Press the power button five times quickly to turn it on.

Then it will automatically enter a preheat mode that lasts for 10 seconds. You will notice the unit countdown displayed on the LED screen.

Simply get a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and wipe the bottom part of it.

Additionally, the Quartz bucket Coil can be removed and soaked in alcohol to loosen wax. Remember to season your nail and burn off leftover alcohol.
